Newly based out of Montreal, Joey Bird is a solo driven music project produced by Ontario hailing singer-songwriter/ multi-instrumentalist, Austin Pigott. Although acquiring innumerable influences along the way, in Joey Bird's debut EP release of Cowboy Chords, Austin refocuses the lens through his earliest influences of growing up a singer-songwriter in a small town. Balancing familiarity with innovation, Austin combines tastes of tried and true ideals evocative of rock, country, folk and pop music in a lucidly dreamt fashion. All the while, being guided by an alternatively routed, relentless "do it yourself" spirit.
