Rick Fines is an award-winning Canadian roots and blues artist, celebrated for his soulful songwriting, expressive guitar playing, and heartfelt performances. No stranger to Ottawa, his music blends honesty, warmth, and the timeless spirit of the blues. A Peterborough native, Rick had a packed house for his concert here at Red Bird Live in July of 2024, ahead of relocating to Germany for a few years.

Now he's stopping back home for Ottawa's Blues In The Schools program, something he's been involved in for 25 years. He's looking forward to performing for his Ottawa audience, with a few songs he's been writing and, no doubt, stories from the dozen countries he's visited in Europe.
