About the Canadian Centennial Choir: Founded in 1967, the Canadian Centennial Choir performs a wide repertoire of choral music, from classical masterpieces to contemporary Canadian works. The Choir is led by Musical Director Marg Stubington, an acclaimed choral conductor, pianist, and educator. Marg has been directing choirs in Ottawa for over 25 years and has been the CCC Music Director since 2009. She has championed Canadian composers, commissioning and premiering works including Nick Piper’s Nisi Pontus et Aer, Nothing But Sea and Sky and Laura Hawley’s In Song.
