The Hypochondriacs are a powerhouse band hailing from Fredericton, New Brunswick, known for their genre-defying fusion of country, rockabilly, and unadulterated rock and roll. In 2022, they were nominated for Recording of the Year by Music New Brunswick.
Their debut album won four Music New Brunswick awards in 2018, including Album of the Year, Emerging Artist of the Year, SOCAN Song of the Year, and Country Artist of the Year, and was also nominated for Country Album of the Year by the East Coast Music Association (ECMA).
The Hypochondriacs have toured across Canada and the United States, representing New Brunswick at festivals like SXSW (Texas), Red Wing Roots Festival (Virginia), and Breakout West (Calgary & Saskatoon). Along the way, they have opened for Lukas Nelson, Joel Plaskett, Trooper, and The Reverend Horton Heat among others.
In spring 2026, The Hypochondriacs will release their much-anticipated 3rd studio album, "Take Yourself Easy", recorded at Fang Record in Dartmouth, NS.
