Formed in 2010 by Ottawa indie music veterans, the Ya-Ya’s pay homage … to The Rolling Stones in a way that goes beyond mere tribute. Named after the iconic live album 'Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out', the band captures the spirit and essence of The Stones' music with authenticity and passion. Rather than simply emulating the look of the band, The Ya-Ya's focus is on celebrating the music itself, offering a mix of hits, gems, rarities, and even some surprises from The Stones' extensive catalogue.
The Ya-Ya's will be showcasing songs from The Rolling Stones' 1960's halcyon days all the way to their latest Grammy nominated album, 2023's 'Hackney Diamonds'. Expect an evening filled with energy, nostalgia, and a few delightful surprises as The Ya-Ya's bring their unique flair to Overflow Brewery.
Comprising seasoned musicians from Ottawa's vibrant music scene, The Ya-Ya's have garnered a dedicated following over the years. With members who have been part of renowned bands like The Bushpilots and GOOD2GO, The Ya-Ya's promise a musical journey that transcends time and genre.
Joining the Ya-Ya's will be longtime frequent collaborator Zeek Gross on sax, and the amazing Sherri Harding of the Cooper Bros on vocals.
