Initially inspired by Django Reinhardt and the gypsy jazz of the 1930s, Damoizeaux handles the hybridization of colourful vintage styles like no one else, incorporating pop-jazz sounds with a hint of film and poetry. On September 25, 2020, the group released their first album, En plume, on the Rosemarie Records label. Reflecting an adventurous and imaginative approach, Damoizeaux’s compositions combine elegance and subtlety, in the vocals as well as in the fluidity of the drums and the delicate rhythm of the guitars.
