Flora Luna - whose real name is Genevieve Freynet - has been making a name for herself on Canada's national scene since her project debuted in December 2021. Semi-finalist in the Grand Concours at the Festival international de la chanson de Granby and winner of Chant'Ouest in 2022, she has also performed at a number of festivals, including the Festival de la chanson de Tadoussac, the Coup de coeur francophone festival, opening for Vincent Vallieres, the Festival du Voyageur and the TD International Winnipeg Jazz Festival, among others. Following her showcase at Contact Ouest 2023, she was awarded the Reseau des grands espaces/Festival Les oreilles en pointe (in France) prize, which will launch her international career in 2024.
