Tapping into their respective musical histories, Eric Vieweg and Shawn Tavenier have collaborated to create a conceptual songwriting project about their perspectives on love, loss, hardship, adventure and isolation - all conveyed through the lens of the ill-fated Franklin Expedition.

Shawn and Eric spent much time over many years meticulously developing a considerable tranche of folk rock songs that fit on their recently-released double LP "Lost as Where We Are". Accompanied by Dave Draves at Little Bullhorn studio, much attention was given to both melody and underlying sonic landscape to create a wide and deep sound to complement deliberate and evocative songwriting.
