New Moon at LIVE! on Elgin Featuring Mary-Hope, Kaiday, & The Extensions
Mary-Hope:
Mary-Hope is a singer-songwriter from Halifax, Nova Scotia who currently resides in Ottawa, Ontario. Their music blends indie-alternative, Canadiana, and emo-folk styles to produce deep and meaningful narratives. Her works touch on elements of homesickness, grappling with self-identity, as well as the love and loss of family and friends.
Kaiday:
Kaiday is a bilingual singer songwriter born and raised in Ottawa. Her songs pull together a unique blend of folk, Rnb and pop. Sharing her stories with authenticity and vulnerability all while combining her Franco-Ontarian roots and English upbringing. Kaiday’s music is a collection of her heartbreaks, growing pains, and self discovery.
The Extensions:
The Extensions are a four-piece Indie/Soul band from Ottawa, Ontario. The members met at Carleton University and began playing locally when the world opened back up in 2020. Their shows include originals as well as some re-imagined covers of new and old favorites. Their vibe is chilled out and dancey, with a focus on groove. All are welcome to join in the experience.
