Ottawa singer/songwriter Hannah Vig is making the best of the bad times through music. Since her first performances in 2022, she has established herself as an artist to look out for. Whether onstage with her band or playing solo, Hannah is known to captivate listeners with her indie folk-rock melodies and impactful songwriting narrating the experience of navigating young adulthood as a queer person. Her first album, What a Way to Pass the Time came out last summer.

Brazilian-born singer-songwriter Monique Messier blends soul-baring vocals with vulnerable storytelling. Her writing style creates a sound that sits somewhere between soft pop and acoustic rock. Rooted in a musical family and shaped by the emotional depth of Brazilian genres, Monique’s music explores the edges of growing up, love, and identity. Her debut E.P. Teens to Twenties comes out on July 17th.
