The New Hires + Noise Hotel + Yellow Magnolia
The New Hires are an indie rock band from Ottawa, ON. Known for their catchy hooks and energetic live performances, they have recently released their latest EP ‘Talking to the Walls’. Produced by Thomas D’Arcy (NOBRO, The Sheepdogs, July Talk), the latest EP explores the social anxieties and personal challenges of early adulthood self-discovery.
Their creative blend of 2000’s rock nostalgia and modern indie sounds continue to pack some of Ontario’s most notable venues. Supporting artists such as JUNO award-winning artists JJ Wilde and Dear Rouge, Hotel Mira and DURRY, the dapper 5-piece have been showcasing their back-to-basics approach delivering anthemic ballads and high-energy rock songs you can’t help but sing along to.
The New Hires are Max (Vocals), Phil (Guitar), Aidan (Guitar), Christian (Drums) and Jack (Bass).
Noise Hotel
Noise Hotel is a four-piece indie rock band steeped in nostalgia, with a penchant for velvet & neckties. Noise Hotel was formed in 2022 by singer/guitarist Eric Montpool and bassist Christian Strong after a series of chance encounters in Ottawa, ON including a short-lived groupchat and a Christmas party jam. What started as a few songs between friends quickly grew into consistent shows at small clubs and bars in Canada's capital, turning Noise Hotel into a regular presence in Ottawa's lively student indie scene. Noise Hotel solidified their lineup in 2024 after the departure of original drummer Boshko Maric, bringing hometown friend-of-a-friend Brendan Vandepol into the fold behind the kit, and Eric's hannah vig bandmate Matthew Scharfe on guitar.

Yellow Magnolia
Yellow Magnolia is electric, gritty, and unapologetic rock. Powered by the brotherly synergy of Evin and Owen Jennings, “Bruv Luv” if you will, and anchored by Aidan Coones on guitar and Landon Cruz on Bass. Their blend of 60s pop, 70s soul, and 00s garage rock creates something entirely their own. They craft songs that hit hard and linger long, capturing the thrill of young love and the grind of self-discovery. Experience Yellow Magnolia live – it’s not just what you’re hearing, it’s what you’re feeling.
