Nick Semenykhin Trio is composed of Levi Dover on bass, Aaron Dolman on drums, and Nick Semenykhin on guitar. The trio plays Nick’s original compositions as well as a few less-known jazz standards.

The more recent Nick’s compositional book presents a mix of jazz, Americana, blues, and fusion. All the while maintaining the interplay between the members of the band as well as the improvisational nature of jazz.

The idea of the project is to put guitar front and centre in a jazz context while drawing inspiration from a vast guitar vocabulary of ideas and sounds that were used in different genres throughout generations. The goal is to present a unique sound that appeals not only to jazz fans but also to the general public.
