The show is part of Empress Effects' 20th year anniversary party (the Music Festiversary!). During the day, you'll be able to try out guitar effects from over 25 companies and guitars from 5 independent guitar companies. There will be additional artists playing music throughout the day. And the Clawmpress, a claw machine full of actual guitar effects that can be won by attendants during the day!

With a stellar career spanning two decades as the leader of Hollerado and a 1/4 of supergroup Anyway Gang, Menno Versteeg is by no means a stranger to the stage and the airwaves. With literally thousands of shows in over twenty countries, ten Top 10 singles, one Gold Record and one #1 Alternative Single, Versteeg has seen and done his fair share, but Why We Run marks the first time he's releasing music under his own.

Boyhood is the musical project of Caylie Runciman, a Canadian songwriter known for blending raw guitar riffs, synth textures, and deadpan vocals. Based in rural Ontario, she writes, records, and produces her own music, evolving from lo-fi basement recordings to polished full-band arrangements. Her work explores the tension between youthful wonder and adult unease, as heard on releases like Bad Mantras, My Dread, and 2024’s Shells EP.
