Founded in 2019, SaxNSip all began with a facebook search to seek musicians for one of the best live music nights known to the city as “Express Yourself” - a recurring event that was put in place to showcase local artists. As Enock (aka Knocks) noticed that Ben was a great saxophonist, he invited Ben to perform at Express Yourself with his then band, Melodic Soundz. Based off this one performance and their love and passion for music, Knocks saw the potential to bring Ben’s talent to larger platforms; and thus SaxNSip was created. Ever since, SaxNSip has been performing across in both Canada and the US.
